Reviewed this vintage 3 times. Last bottle. Still excellent. Keep or drink over the next 2-5 years. Tons of tannins, kirsch, crushed marble. Mostly red fruit , touch blueberry, hint bitter. A reference wine.

Aug 16th, 2025Unchanged opinion. See previous review of the same vintage. Fabulous wine. Classic. Dark cherries, earth, dust. Quite tannic. Great now with air or give it 2-3 more years.

Nov 3rd, 2023Excellent classic Sangiovese. Retried a day later really quite good a winery to watch and a favorite of Eric Asimov at the NYT. No formal notes. But I will for sure buy and try other cuvée’s.
