Médium ruby quite light ruby garnet rim . This is pretty aromatic with lots of cedar , dried herbs , some red cherries , touch of liquorice and porcini . The palate is fine boned and elegant in style, but with enough volume of fruit to cover the bones and balanced alcohol . Herbal tinged red cherries , sage , rosemary. Refreshing acidity and slightly gritty , dry tannins . Reasonable length with slightly saline , herbal tinged finish . This is drinking well at the moment , though will continue at this level for at least a further 5-8 years .
