2013 vintage. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Malbec, 4% Petit Verdot. AVA Diamond Mountain District, Napa Valley. 24 months French oak (74% new). Consulting winemaker Celia Welch. Dark red with a hint of purple at the rim. Graphite, slightly jammy black fruits, spices and flowers in the nose. Layers of dark juicy fruit, fresh acidity and a firm, but rather soft tannic structure. Mineral finish. Surprisingly generous and supple for a Diamond Mountain cab. Very good indeed. Growing in the glass.

2200 feet in the sky is what makes this so yummy! Composed of Cab and a splash of Malbec and Petit Verdot. Volcanic notes on the nose with cream cassis. Soft tannins on the sip while still getting that cream lush mouthfeel. Core raspberries and minerals balanced nice with the acidity-segway's to a succulent finish.

Blackberry, blueberry and an intense and richly packed aroma. This is a full bodied wine with heft. Glad I was turned on to this gem! @jesus g @Paul T @Martin G Rivard @TheSkip @Terri Walker @Jim Trobaugh

Dark blackberry, blueberry, fruit all the way. The balance and silkiness make this a wonderful pour. The mid palate is rewarded with an explosion of layered flavors of fruit. @jesus g @David L @Paul T

14.5% alc.
85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot.
Aged 24 months in 74% new French oak.

A tad below their 2012 to my palate with a dark fruit bitterness (from the PV?) that I don't think will mellow out favorably with age.
A great wine/good QPR and given the vintage perhaps just an infanticide on my part but I was hoping for a bit more at this point.

Blackberries, dark with smooth mocha. Surprising.
