Riverstone Arroyo Seco Chardonnay

Fresh, lively. Oak, creamy with balancing acidity.

We had this as the white wine offering at our wedding reception.

Enjoyed the lightness and oakiness. Didn’t love the sparkling qualities.

Sweet and buttery. Pairs well with slightly aged cow’s milk cheese. Peaches? Pineapple?

Headache

Straw-hued. Aromas and flavors of butter, coconut, cream, oak, papaya, passionfruit, pear, and vanilla. Medium-full body and medium-high acidity. A finish of lemon and minerals on the palate. Very approachable and easy to drink; a solid example of a sub-$15 California Chardonnay.

A good blend of citrus and butter. Neither one outweighs the other. Quite nice with a charcuterie platter of meat and cheese. Also very nice to just drink by itself.

So buttery you could have some toast with this! So buttery you’d be eating a lobster tail with it! So buttery you’d mistake it for @Troy Arnold ‘s underwear! Tastes delicious tho, and way out of my normal drinking swill.
