Tight, dense, and dark. Took 3 hrs to open.

Has taken an hour to open. Asian spice, poutpourri, rhubarb and sandalwood. Delicate ... like tiptoe delicate. Beautiful wine from a mediocre vintage. What this lacks in complexity it makes up in drink ability.

Mugnier hand tames the maverick terroir, although not of interest now with the current pricing.

2008: outstanding vintage for this wine, so fresh & dense at the same time

Always blows my mind. Especially the '08 vintage

'08 - Very expressive. Finesse but fierce and with elegant high tone florals.

2008 after an hour in a decanter.

Damn, the 08 is showing very well now.
