Ya there's a bit of bretty-ness but also some lovely fruit & acidity to keep it fresh. Lively & complex. It's alive, let it breathe.

I love Brecht but this had a little too much. Tons of black olive on the finish. Started to open up near the end.

Red fruits initially, then some leather and Brett show out on the palate, medium-long finish, really quite youthful still, but the levels of brett concern me just a tad.

Apr 4th, 2022Fair amount of brett aromas, redfruits and more brett shows on palate (as my friend Bob Foster taught me years ago, the brett clips the finish), great structure and length, but I’m very perplexed by the high levels of brett in this bottle (and I’m pretty brett-tolerant)?!?!

Nov 29th, 2020Aromatically this shows ripe redfruits with great minerality, a suggestion of oak aromatically and in the subtly-creamy flavors, medium-long finish, just a lovely drinker!!
