I can see this wine being controversial a lot of other than fruit character toasty oak wood cherry fruit mahogany wood - wouldn't have guessed Gamay.

Quirky and kinetic, this wine is very much alive and full of energy. Tart cranberries wrapped in mushroom phyllo form an intriguing and unexpected alliance of flavors. I would love to get more!

I know I'm supposed to love this for geek factor alone but was a bit dirty diapers to me. Needed decanting to deal with the fizz. I didn't give it enough time.

Fun wine! All natural, no so2 additions. Lots of earthy funk, but in the best way. Underbrush, barnyard(Bret), wild cherry, raspberry, great acid, dried herbs and anise. Worked well with some head cheese.

Sassafras, roots, twigs, beets, cloves, great acid. A pleasure, cinnamon apples as it opens...moving to lime zest and cranberry. Great booze
