Sticking with the Vau de Vey alliterative format, this is very vibrant and vivacious. Extraordinarily pure ripe apple (with a nod toward peach) fruit on the nose, backed up with very clean limestoney minerality. On the palate, there’s an immediate jolt of very pure fruit, a soft, enveloping texture, and then the mineral notes kick in on the extended finish. Clearly unoaked, and with crisp, integrated acidity. Nicely done. Textbook.

Very open and inviting Chablis. Nose jumps out, with scents of crushed sea shell, citrus oil, green apple, wet straw. Round and ripe ( but not too ripe) in the mouth. Nice, gently but mouthwatering acids to buoy up the super-pure fruit. Some nice limestone minerality as well. Drinking beautifully right now. I don’t see this as a Chablis to age.
