Ethereal flowers and amplified fruit with touch of herb and earth. Sometimes too easy to drink

Dark colors and flavors but an energizing lightness. Rich yet not taunting, each sip tells a story.

This is what it’s like when you finish a good book.

2017 GSM from @jolielaidewines doesn’t disappoint, carrying the usual deliciousness that seems to plague everything Scotty Schultz touches. Boysenberry and blueberry and chopped herbs all have a sweet / saline juiciness that grabs you by the scruff of the neck and says, no really, have another glass. Really.

Red berries, olive brine, clay, sunshine... An easy drinker, yet complex enough to keep interest.

The fruit on this is really pretty, for lack of a better word. Great structure as well. Touch of VA, but overall it has a positive effect.

First J-L I’ve had. Great texture, classic flavors. Really liked this one.
