Very ripe Syrah with deep black fruit. Subtle savory notes of olive and soy sauce with a peppery finish. I’m a big fan of Phelps cabs and merlots but I think that the Syrah is lacking acidity for me.

Jun 4th, 2017Lovely dark color, and lots of dark ripe fruit on the nose. Fruit forward taste, more dark fruit, mild tannins. Hoping for more spice and depth once it opens up.
Update: improved on the following days and paired well with a couple of spicy dishes.
