Cuvée de Trois Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Aged 10 months in 25% new French oak. Ruby with aromas of ripe red fruits, spice and smoky cedar notes. On the palate flavors of ripe crushed red cherries, with notes of cedar and spice, lively acidity, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy notes, more Burgundian in style vs. CA. Nice now, still has some aging room.

A stunner. Could not put glass down.

2014 Cuvée de Trois Pinot Noir shared in my backyard on a cool doing evening. Lovely amazing.

Winner of blind tasting

Fruit-forward Pinot with an excellent nose, but finish is too harsh. Perhaps this will be better in 5 years. Surprisingly, letting it breathe made it even harsher, and the fruit was lost.

Beautiful Pinot for $40 retail. Comparable to wine double the price. Easily best wine tastes with @James Gerhart during lunch

First taste of this old school RRV producer. Classic red and blue fruit high acidity with big intense California sweetness, super intense and tasty. Felt pretty big after a couple of Burgundies though

A Pinot that reminded me how much I love Pinot. Went amazingly well with my spicy fish chowder and tuna at Passionfish.

High acidity but very fruity and easy to drink. Earthy/woodsy as well
