Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon
One of my favorite everyday drinking cabs. Pairs well with filet mignon or pasta.

Nov 10th, 2018First tasting of the ‘16 vintage. Still young but doesn’t disappoint. Fruit forward and smooth, but perhaps lacking some structure and firmness. To be revisited as it is so early.

Feb 23rd, 2018Dark Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
On the nose plums, cherries, licorice, oak, vanilla, cloves, tobacco, coffee, chocolates, peppercorn, spices, earth, light vegetables and pencil lead.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, vanilla, vegetables ,earth, oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, coffee, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a nice Cabernet from Paso Robles, California. Not fully balanced yet, with mild complexity. Needs a couple of years in the bottle to mature properly.
Very consistent over the years and a little overpriced in my opinion.
Good right out of the bottle, but better after an hour of airtime.
Good by itself or with food. Will pair nicely with BBQ Meats.
I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.
14% alcohol by volume. (a little lower than previous vintages).
87 Points.
$25.

Mar 9th, 2019Nice Cab from Justin...simple dark fruit...vanilla..pencil lead..licorice..a little earthy. A $20 purchase at Costco. This wine is not overly complex..great every day red that is drinkable now but could stand to mature. Alc 14% with no burn! One hour decant on this
