Finally getting around to trying this vintage of an old favorite. Interesting aromas of smoked meat, black olives, dried herbs and violets. Dark plum, black cherry and blackberry fruit on the palate with additional notes of pepper spice, orange zest and minerals. Long and savory finish. Tastes very similar to Northern Rhône Syrah. Bold with Medium-plus body. Glad we waited. Thanks for sharing, John P.
