Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary aromas of sun dried tomatoes, potpourri, and dried herbs; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, medium body, high alcohol, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of tart cherries, red currants, raspberries, and clay pots with a long finish. Most would probably prefer this wine with food. It is intense and complex, but a little tart. Overall, I rate this wine as very good.
