The 1995 Krug showed a touch more oxidative and had more concentrated fruit than the ‘96 Pierre Peters that we enjoyed alongside. There’s a lovely mélange of strawberry, white peach, citrus, nuts and marshmallow. Similarly to the PP, there’s fabulous acid and a long life ahead.

Oct 28th, 2017Light gold with lots of fine tiny bubbles. Shows a bit of age on the nose with some complexity. Notes of lemon, white stone and white flowers. Great energy in the mouth. Lots of fruit, balanced with nice acidity. Good finish.
