Vintage Brut Champagne Blend

Tasted side by side with the 2000. The DNA is there but vintage characteristics are on full display. This was full of power and freshness. Complexity versus structure. Underwent many changes during the night, rambunctious, flirty , mellow. Will eventually resemble its older sibling but it will take a long time before it demonstrates maturity.

One of the best bottles of Champagne I have ever had

I have never had a Krug that drinks so well on release, but they were exceptionally patient with this one. Vosne-Romanee like savory rich dark fruit and more Champagne refreshment than should fit in a 750!

Elegance and precision. Lacy, crispy apples, hazelnuts. A joy!

Spectacular champagne! Very tight bubbles - starts off as with a Chard and finishes with Pinot (pear/Apple/spice)

The 2002s are super approachable already.

Great vintage! Much more fruit than is typical of Krug. This will be one to go deep with. 3 bottles of this tonight and all were consistent.
