Top Notes For
Pop and pour through an aerator.
NOSE: cherry, cranberry, currant, sandalwood. A little blackberry, but it’s not prominent. A little of the perfumy-grapey quality I associate with cheap merlot. Some floral somethingorothers. Some pencil/graphite. Fruit leather.
TASTE: A little anonymous…watery blackberry, cherry pits, a little of that sandalwood character…and flowers…but dull, at least to me. Tannins taste like bitter cherry. Inoffensive. Not worth the $12. EDIT: BETTER ON DAY 2, more earth and dried flowers. 88-89.

Previous vintage was excellent (2014). NOT this 2020 though. Barely rates as a “2nd bottle”.
