Beaujolais-esque color. Dense nose, thick layers, berries and spice. Syrah-ish attack with loaded fruit. But then dusty tannin make way for a biting finish. Fresh. Mid weight. A bodybuilder's Mondeuse.

My first mondeuse wine and I am guessing this one is going to be much bigger than any other.
Syrah like, brooding BlackBerry, plum, and a slight meatiness. Unique and very good. Although this might have ruined my expectations for any other Mondeuse.
