In southern Burgundy, at the northern border of Beaujolais, lies the Pouilly-Fuisse appellation. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of stone fruits, melon and lemon citrus with light notes of vanilla oak. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity and ends with minerality. Consistent quality! Nice! Good value!

Feb 24th, 2022Little heavy handed. Oak spice, malo, tart apple and great acid. Wish they would’ve used more neutral oak, which they usually do. Might have been the year to bring in new barrels. That being said, had with pepper crusted seared tuna and it held up well.

Aug 19th, 2021Honeysuckle, bitter orange, and a little metallic. Citrus acidity with a mineral finish. Medium bodied with a texture that coats the mouth. Some sharp edges and missing some richness. Not bad, but I prefer Jadot chardonnay from a different region.
