Black cherry, plum, black currant, chocolate, baking spices and violet. Very bright in the nose. M acid, body and tannin. Espresso, earth. M finish, balanced, vibrant and lean. M finish. Not overly oaked.

A wonderful Chianti Classico! Deep red (almost purple) color with aromas and flavors of dark cherry, tobacco, leather, vanilla, menthol and cinnamon. Very complex. Rich and long lasting finish, and smooth (but firm) tannins.

I didn't know Antinori did Chianti but @ ÂŁ23 this is superb value for money & probably the best I've had in this price bracket đ way more oomph than your average Chianti đ highly recommended!
đ Paired with slow cooked shoulder of lamb in mixed wild creamy mushroom sauce
đ 90% Sangiovese & 10% Cab S
đ· Deep dark ruby
đ Soft oak through red & black cherry, redcurrant w/ a smokey undertone pushing a light liquorice & cocoa breeze
