Vintage 2012 tight savory with a nice

Stewed plums, cherries, vanilla, red currants. A bit oxidized, probably open too long.

Smells great, tastes better. Nice and layered. Complex in a soft way. The acidity is electrifying. The taste lingers. I've had three sips and I'm already completely satisfied. What a well-made gem out of Tuscany. Consistently good across vintages.

New release from LdV in 20th vintage; complex bright aromas of black cassis fruit, cedar box and spice. Palate is refined and tannins firm and long. Approachable now but will improve 2-5 yrs

Beautiful Super Tuscan blend. Let it breathe for a bit pour and enjoy. Great aroma, black cherry other dark berry flavors with a really nice finish.

SuperTuscan for Mere's bday. Plum dark, alcohol bite, barrel and tannic forward. A bit lackluster with unmellowed sourness and effervescence. Kiwi, red apple, jalapeño heat.

It's oaky with a wonderful fruity expansion in my mouth. Enjoying it!

Had on the Alaskan Cruise

Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet with black cherry notes, dense fruit and a long finish. Great go-to wine. 93
