Deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits, oak and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum with cacao, vanilla and spicy herb notes. Fine tannins, medium finish ending with juicy fruit, toasty oak and herb spice character. Nice, drinking well now!

Jan 12th, 2025Markham has a very solid history with Merlot and I usually love it. The ‘15 and ‘16 were great value. But I found this ‘17 to lack the old Markham soul despite its balance. Maybe I was erked by the label change.

Mar 1st, 2021Nose - strawberries, cherries. Really nice.
Medium bodied. Taste - cherries, a bit of smoke, somewhat tannic but not over the top.
Overall a really great Merlot for the price.

Feb 6th, 2021The formula changed, and it was not pleasant as it used to be. More acidic and tannic, and less fruit. Does not taste as Napa!
