Medium ruby in color; raspberries, cranberries, and smoke on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium minus tannins; tastes like hibiscus, pomegranates, and wet slate with a long finish. I heard a theory that this wine was impacted by fires in California. If that's where the smokey aroma comes from, they lucked out. The smoke isn't overpowering, and it adds complexity. I love this wine.

From Vanderbilt Ave. Wine Merchants. The first time I had this it was the 2021 vintage and was like 90% sediment. This bottle barely has any sediment and tastes like fresh cranberry-orange juice. Wine lol 🤷🏻♀️
