Clear and bright deep Ruby red color. Clean medium plus intensity aromas primary blackberry black CURRANt and baked plum. Secondary smoke charred wood and Cedar with touches of Ethyl acetate. Tertiary aromas of flavors of dried cranberries dried blackberry walnut and tobacco. When is dry with medium acidity high tannins a little bit coarse and chewy. Alcohol high but not hot. Medium + body pronounced intensity flavors. Dried cherries and blackberries, cedar, vanilla, and toast. Medium plus finish. Very good quality because the wine is smooth and inviting well balanced and complex from its aging. #priorat drink now until 2019.

Mar 3rd, 2017Took about an hour to an hour and a half before this thing really opened up and hit its stride. First, tobacco and petrol with dried cherries, then came sour berries and apples, then finally stewed fruits and chocolate. Medium tannins, soft and never dominated the wine. Really nice wine but it takes some patience!
