Deep Ruby red with aromas of dark fruits and heavy spice notes. On the palate flavors of jammy fruits, plums and blackberries and pepper spice, cedar and cacao. Medium finish, firm sharp tannins. Ok but for a few $$ more you can get something better.

What a gorgeous Cabernet this is.
Dark ruby in color with a purple rim.
Gorgeous on the nose, with blueberries, blackberries, violets, black currants, cedar, smoke, vanilla, licorice, eucalyptus, Herbs, spices and peppercorn.
Bold and full-bodied and jammy, with gorgeous legs and medium acidity.
Fruity on the palate with blackberries, figs, raisins, red currants, cherries, Cola, licorice, chocolate, herbs, cedar, spices and black pepper.
Long finish with soft, round tannins and spices.
A Great Cabernet from one of my favorite wineries. At its peak right now, so enjoy it, sooner than later. enjoyable by itself or with grilled meats.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Tonight I stopped by the home of my friend, the Strong Man, who offered me a fine wine in a coffee mug - and why not? He was in a grand ol' mood because he had just got engaged to the Bearded Woman. He was planning to ask one of the Siamese Twins to be his best man (he wasn't fond of the other twin) and we laughed at the hijinks that would surely ensure. On the way out the door my friend handed me a ticket to the Freakshow - always a good time.

Trying out my new Zalto Bordeaux glasses with Cali cab. This wine is easy peasy. It will not challenge you but sometimes that’s okay. Very ripe tannins and purpley fruit and there is a whiff of pepper to give a little edge. I have a feeling this may be a highly engineered act but I guess that’s why it’s a Freakshow.
