Wow. Wish I could drink this every day. Just perfect balance of tobacco, fruit and leather. Spent 1.5hrs in decanter first.

Decanted, will follow over the evening.
On open: big wine, tart but ripe, red cherry, intersting mix of orange peel, five spice, and wet fall leaves. Big tannins, astringent, some alcohol on the nose actually...will check in later
Didnt get back to this until 24 hours later...this really opened up the next day unsurprisingly. Alcohol aroma totally vanished, tannins smoothed out completely, excellent. Give it some more time, or a very long decant.
