Tasted great thru 3 days. Just enough of an AFWE bent to keep my satisfied.

2012, Mongeard-Mugneret, Les Dames Huguettes, Bourgogne Hautes Cotes De Nuits, Pinot Noir. More traditional label from the 2011. A single vineyard Hautes Cotes De Nuits. Not as complex or as enjoyable as the 2011. Tons of tart red fruit, lots of wet dirt. A little underwhelming compared to the 2011.

2011 vintage. Continues to develop from somewhat thin & fruity into a very nice & complex wine

Should have had some patience with this one and put it way a few years. 8 hours in a decanter and still taut and wound up. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Oaky and nice. My friend took me on a date. Memories forever. Aftertaste of crabcake and steak.
