Purple Angel Colchagua Valley Carménère Petit Verdot

2012. This wine is iconic for a reason. It truly expresses Carmenere and Chile while offering so much round oak on the nose and palate it takes the super belle pepper black currant thing. I'm all in.

Another great wine from Chile. Crimson red with aromas ripe red and black fruits and floral notes. On the palate this wine shows strawberry, blackberry and blueberry flavors with cinnamon spice and black pepper. A blend of 92% carmenere and 8% petit verdot, this wine had a long and silky finish with smooth tannins and ended with cacao notes.

Amazing. So so good. Big blackberry, blue berry, and chocolate flavors. Creamy full body wine with smooth velvety tannins.
