Quite a healthy ruby garnet core and thin garnet rim . Quite herbal and funky on the nose at first , then with spiced cherry, pomegranate, leather and dried sage. On the palate this has sweet red fruits , pomegranate and high acidity , fine tannins and a decent dried herb tinged finish . This is drinking well now and will continue to do so over the next 5 years

Not as impressed as I was hoping. Maybe I didn't store it well? Purchased in 2010, patiently kept on the shelf in the wine cellar for 6 years, and in the end rather ordinary. Not bad in any way, just not so much impact. Light aromas of cocoa and violet. Very little fruit, tiny hints of bitterness and acidity, trailing off into top and side of the mouth tannins. Kind of thin. Meh. Maybe I just kept this one too long.

Great purity and focus. Rose petal, licorice, dried cherries. Wonderful structure. If anything wants for a touch of length.
