Wow. This wine was meh after first opening but after being argon gassed and then stuck in the fridge for 3 days - it changed.

With airtime and coming back to temp - it opened and exploded with depth and ripe berry fruit Blues.

Just kicked butt. Will be seriously decanting the next bottle.

This wine needed a solid 1-2 hours of airtime and then once it had breathed, it really opened up and was solid.

In a prime drinking window at 9 years young this is clearly a Bordeaux inspired masterpiece from knights valley. If it had a napa Ava, it would be 2-3x the price. I’m struggling to recall a better cab or Bdx blend from sonoma. Will definitely drink more of this wine. Bravo Luc.

Floral nose. Black fruit on the palate. Initially comes across as relatively light (for California Cabernet), but the finish persists nicely. These Morlet wines never disappoint me.

Solid California here - developed stone fruits, cedar, sugared espresso. It's got weight without overpowering the pallet. Only off-balance a bit in the backend with muddled sugar/alcohol, which I think will be corrected with some age. But good stuff.
