Well balanced and fruit forward. Smokey cherry, blackberry, and plum, with just enough oak and spice. One of my "go to" favs.

Sleeper alert... at 15 bucks this is amazing. Get some. The nose screams oak, and almost a bbq type presence; and that is not a bad thing. At the start there is a smoky, almost leathery impression which rounds off to a strong blackberry fruit/spice that could get a bit crazy but is immediately mellowed out by this huge oak and smooth vanilla/choco extended finish.

Feb 20th, 2017Bought for a dinner. It was well received. The zin is jammy and slightly sweet without lingering aftertaste. The wine is fruity and rich. Easy to drink with or without food. Everyone responded to the lighter read taste. Sort of reminded me of a red blend type taste.
