Rosso di Montalcino Sangiovese

Nice subtle nose of sour cherries and spice. Really nice aromas. Palate is crisp, refined and juicy with nice slick tannins. As it opens there is lovely dense cherry fruit. Nice freshness and crunch. Long and persistent. Nice complexity.

Sort of an elegant baby brunello. So sad these guys sold to the evil empire. Such sweet Sangiovese fruit. Heaven. Perfect with sausage and peppers. Bought from Fass selections. ... as this opens it is profound. But profound in the context of Rosso. Just a linear elegant sweetness. It is in such a way that only Rosso can be. Brunello has too much weight. This has less density so it’s all about the spice and balance. Wow. Amazing internal aromatics. So fine.

Dusty sweet cherry fruit on the nose. Some meat. Awesome sweet cherry on the palate. God this is good. Blows away most Brunellos. What Sangiovese can be. Bought from Fass selections.
