Surprisingly dark for Barolo. Mushrooms, roses, raspberries and anise. Modern style. Young but approachable

Its tannins have not softened enough, and the fruit isn’t as buoyant as I had hoped. Somebody stop me from opening the other one for at least two years. (I also have the Parafada).

May 7th, 2020This was wonderful. Decanted for two hours. Other 2010 barolos I’ve opened recently have been disappointing. Thankful this was on the money. Love this family producer.

Jan 1st, 2020The nose is Beautiful ripe, dark , musty fruit. On the palate, there is tobacco, dark cherry, and hints of currants. This wine, while not heavy, is a beautiful Barolo built by Maurilio Paladino. We love his wines! I will have another taste in 2019..
