Decanted. About 5 years since my last btl. On the nose: strawberry liqueur, maraschino cherry, a hint of prune. On the palate: good acidity, blackberry and wild strawberry, but just too overextracted. Soft tannin on the finish. Drink em if you got em, this is not going to improve..

Pretty bloody tight this young, a lesson for next time. It did open up beautifully and showed it's dried cherry and some cranberry, potpourri, tar and a touch of a metalic note. Again, would love to revisit down the track

Feeling nostalgic so took a trip down memory lane. Drank over 2 nights. On day 1 this was super tannic and not giving a whole lot, although you could tell this was going to be a special wine with time. Corked and put half back in the fridge. On day 2 - Holly Molly, firing on all cylinders! Beautiful rose petals, tar and bananas. Yes, bananas in a Barolo! Amazing vino!
