This may be the best straight Chablis AOC I’ve had. Classic nose has copious amounts of ripe, apply fruit, loads of fresh, homemade brothy notes, and sweet crushed, moist limestone minerality. Packed with flavor and intensely minerally in the mouth. Just round-textured liquid stones. Nice acids for a modern era Chablis. Lip-smackingly intense. What a value. Wish I got more of this.

Green apple, minerals, salinity. Good as a wine spritz.

Intense, dry minerality. Like squeezing a lime onto some fresh cut limestone then licking it off. Delicious!

This Chablis has a lot of good ratings, but I was disappointed. Great acidity, yet feels a bit flimsy for a 12.5% abv Chardonnay. Had it with roast chicken thighs, market carrots, potatoes and a red oak leaf, plum radish, almond, feta and honey mustard Fall salad. It’s good as an aperitif, but not a great food wine.
