Deep purple-black whit complex spicy, savory and meaty notes. Rich and full-bodied to the palate, whit a great freshness and extremely long to the finish. #grange #penfolds #australianwinetasting #shiraz

The 12 "Grange" is 98 Shiraz & 2% Cabernet. On the nose, black currants, blackberries, black plum black raspberries, hints of blue fruits. Supple spices, dark roasted coffee and dry decayed red florals. Palate reveals; M+ meaty tannins, expresso, anise, black currants, dark chocolate, mocha, caramel, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, clove, black licorice, crushed rocks, spices intensify as it settles, violets, light tar, soft leather, dry dark florals, blueberries really shine on the mid palate & a presence of Portiness towards the end. The red fruits really don't distinguish themselves until late in the finish; poached strawberries, dark cherry, cherries. It's a great finish with perfect acidity. Photos are of the "Grange Cottage" the original owners lived in and a Penfold's decanter that's too expensive to ask the price.

All Barossa and McLaren Vale fruit this year, 2% Cabernet and 17months brand new American oak. Whiffs of fine mahogany, spiced plums, blackberry, some dried fruit, mettwurst, slight florals and a lick of vanilla. Just coming into the realm of full bodied, not coming across over bearing at all. Not defined by resolute tannin it's amazingly approachable now, showing amazing balance and composure, but the tannin is there, dragging long and fine with harmonious acid. A beauty of a wine.

Just Globally released 12 hours ago. $850 retail. 2% Cabernet. Gorgeous, unequivocal Barossa wine. Maybe better than 90, 98, 04, 08, 10.

2012 vintage. We killed a baby. Needs time, very disjointed.

Выпито с Саввасом и Мариосом в ресторане Porterhouse 07.10.22. Нежнейшее и очень мощное Вино. Очень достойное!🍷
