Medium to deep ruby red. Layered nose with purple flowers, dark berries and baking spices. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. A bit jammy with dark bramble berries, spices, and some dark gravel. Moderate plus finish and well rounded. Drink till 2021.

Everything you'd want in a Zin without what you don't. 90 vines, 1200 ft up Mt Veeder made by a gentle hand. Killer stuff!

Mount Veeder Zinfandel.
I really wish Mayacammas would continue the tradition of amazing mountain Zinfandel from the southern tip of the Mayacamas.

Deep garnet in the glass. The nose doesn't do it justice. The palate immediately hits you up front with complex notes of red and black cherry, vanilla, cedar, spice, and black licorice. Lean, but present tannins, medium body, and a silky mouthfeel. Really well balanced. The finish starts hot but mellows out into plum pit, cigar box, and butterscotch.
