Everything you'd want in a Zin without what you don't. 90 vines, 1200 ft up Mt Veeder made by a gentle hand. Killer stuff!

Deep garnet in the glass. The nose doesn't do it justice. The palate immediately hits you up front with complex notes of red and black cherry, vanilla, cedar, spice, and black licorice. Lean, but present tannins, medium body, and a silky mouthfeel. Really well balanced. The finish starts hot but mellows out into plum pit, cigar box, and butterscotch.

Got better over time, mountain tannins....cranberry and salinity. Need more mountain zin.
