Leaner styling, but in a very elegant way. Almost St Emilion like.

Haven't had this for some time. Nose of figs and cherries. Palette is astringent, reflecting the poor vintage. Considering what we drank recently, we cannot face this. Return to the supplier, immediately.

Dried herbs, austere fruit, classic Cab bell pepper, and a moderate plus finish.

Plumpjack/Cade/Odette tasting. Not a bad way to start off April.

Plumpjack Estate Cabernet - lots of green on the nose, and dark fruits.

Deep purple color and a very rich wine. Figs, blackberries, cassis, cherries, and a bit of chocolate. Slightly bitter aftertaste.

This ranked 2nd tonight among Cabs. I beat out Chimney Rock, Somerston, but couldn't quite exceed the Alpha Omega magnum. Solid Cab that was refined and had elegant fruit. Nothing that really stood out for me, but very drinkable and overall very pleasing.
