The wine poured a clear blood-rust red. It has spectacular dryness, tastes of cherries and a hint of cranberry. The finish is modest, but adequate. This was an excellent complement to our Christmas Eve prime rib. I was wishing we had another bottle when it was done.

Lends the suggestion of tart cherry, but never quite gets there. Mineral, smoke and bbq on the nose. Where's the fruit? I dunno, good, but was expecting a bit more.
