Definitely bought for the label, but ended up really enjoying the wine. Medium tannin, tobacco smoke and maybe slight coffee on the finish. Sour cherry and raspberry. Will be trying all other Poggio Anima bottles I can find.

Sep 16th, 2018Nice body, deep dark colors, and firm juicy tannins. Used it in a Ragu and later paired it together - easy to drink, solid Montepulciano, but not super noteworthy.

Standard wine, reminiscent of my time in Europe. Nostalgic, with a good level of spice and flavor. I'd definitely get it again.
