Juicy fruit that needs time to open up. Will age well. Bright fresh cranberry. Mineral and lavender. Good acidity. Enjoyed.

Red berries, black cherry, floral notes and a hint of eucalyptus, lined with structured tannins, make this wine a nice surprise!

This is still relatively tight with high acid and tanning typical of Nebbiolo but a good amount of fruit for its age. Black tea, dried rose petal, forest floor, sour cherry, dried orange rind and a powerful earthy sense. For a young barbaresco it had an appealing rigid opulence.

An awesome Christmas gift a couple years ago from @Joe Lucca and this had me jolly. As with many old wines from Piemonte the nose was wonky on pop. Wet cardboard, dirty socks, potential TCA, but it all blew off pretty quickly. Instead of fading it ascended as the night went on. It settled in to a classic mature well stored Barbaresco. It still possesses ample sweet red fruit, tobacco leaf, balsamic and mushroom. Reports from @romo are that it was even better on day 2.

Really thin. No juice. Flat. Not recommended.

The 2015s just hit the shelves in Dallas, and this one needs time before the edges are integrated. Plenty big for a Produttori Barbaresco, tasting better on the third day open. In vintages like this one, it looks like I'll be more found of the softer crus in the short term.
