Nice little lesson in Italian wine courtesy of @Mark Flesher . The nose on this was actually muted...not much aromatics. Darker red in the glass than I expected. Lovely weight on the palate. Older leather, plums, cherries. Finish isn’t fruity at all. Would love to compare one of these against a newer vintage. Thanks Mark!

The classic, elegant rose nose. Pronounced.
Shining color: reds, brownish, amber.
Light on the palate, then ramps up for the mid-palate to the finish. Substantial tannins kick in the close and hang around for quite a while.
Delish.
