Galitzine Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Amazingly fresh & expressive, very Brunello’esque with some Balsamico notes, a bit of tomato leaf, black currant leaf, but also some ripe black fruit. Amazing energy here!
Incredible nose, just insane!
On the palate this is nicely evolved, with mid weight, brilliant balance and freshness.
The tannin management is impeccable- fine, dusty, so delicate yet with the proper grip. Dusty, cocoa’s with a hint of savoury mocca.
6h decant and this is in the perfect spot.
A truly stunning wine.

Ok, I’m sheltering in place. Why not drink the good stuff. Wonderful aroma, deep deep dark fruit, earth ,vanilla . Mid pallet and long finish. Just a delicious wine.

Love this bottle. It was full have brilliance and a joy to drink.

Cedar, eucalyptus on the nose. Cherry, berries, cocoa, opulent on the palate. Smooth and fine tannins. Medium to high acidity. Long finish.

Needed a longer decant - but lovely classic cab when it finally did. Good time here in Napa and wonderful food at Bottega

Absolutely great. With Wayco ham.

Absolutely wonderful. It is worth the money! Used an aerator then let it sit for about an hour. No obvious detectable tannin, with amazing balance.

Ahhhhhhhh...... Look what Santa just dropped a case of for me.... I have been extra good this year!!!!

Well done single vineyard - just a really well balanced wine even this young. This one is going to be truly great down the road
