Expressive nose of dark cherries, strawberries, tea (Turiga shining), cocoa, medium bodied, sharp, fresh, good length and polished tannins. Beautiful

Very dark rubi robe, nose of blackcurrant, dark cherries and asian spices. Top bottle that requires a few years to blossom, we would guess 7 to 10. Among the finest Douro dry reds in this price point.

Nice nose of red and dark fruits, palate with pretty strong tannin even on the second day, full body of dark fruits, medium finish with present tannins. Good wine but very young

Bright purple. Clearly more uptoned than the Quinta do Vallado Superior I had alongside. This is nicely balanced midweight young Douro. Raspberries, granberries red currants and cherry, some strawberry maybe on the background. This jumps nicely out of the glass and nose is far more expressive at this stage. Pop next about 4-5 years from now and you have a treat. Great stuff!
