Oct 11th, 2015So...I am officially out of daily drinkers and this one came into play. This falls within our category between think twice 🤔 & don't touch 🙅🏼. @Larissa Mitchell gave me the go ahead b/c she didn't care for the timeshare like presentation (& pressure) we got to purchase at the end of the tour. Quintessa makes a fine wine - no salesmanship needed.

TN - The nose is strong with cassis and Rutherford dust. Makes me feel like I am laying on the side of the Silverado Trail. Decanted 1.5 hours and it needed it. Very silky on the tongue and dark ruby color.

Oct 19th, 2016Big Cabernet based blend with loads of dark fruit and a very luxurious mouthfeel. Quite balanced and while I say loads of fruit it's well proportioned. Hints of minerality, blueberry pie and raspberry envelope the palate. Very well integrated tannins with a long smooth finish. Decant this for a few hours or lay it down for a few years.

Jan 28th, 2016Glad I have a 6 pack of this. Couldn't help myself and popped one yesterday. These need a few years to really hit their stride. Looking forward to 2020 or so and beyond for these.

Dec 11th, 2015Decanted for 2 hours and drank over the next 2 hours. Got better and better. Chewy tannins intertwined with cherries and chocolate with a touch of spice. Wonderful now and will be even better 10+ years from now
