As others reviewers have said, this wine is consistently outstanding. It pours a deep purple. Wonderful flavors of berries and dried fruit. Balanced tannins and an exquisite finish. As with the other wine for my birthday, it may have overpowered my seafood pasta at Mangia Bene restaurant a little bit. But it was worth it because it was so fantastic. Heavenly blackberry and rich plum conjure up raspberry reductions that smoke a little but stay focused. A stony and crisp, almost granite texture followed by a baked currant and toffee, aromatically. So...I am officially out of daily drinkers and this one came into play. This falls within our category between think twice 🤔 & don't touch 🙅🏼. @Larissa Mitchell gave me the go ahead b/c she didn't care for the timeshare like presentation (& pressure) we got to purchase at the end of the tour. Quintessa makes a fine wine - no salesmanship needed.

TN - The nose is strong with cassis and Rutherford dust. Makes me feel like I am laying on the side of the Silverado Trail. Decanted 1.5 hours and it needed it. Very silky on the tongue and dark ruby color. — 9 years ago
