Aging into something more dominated by baking spices as opposed to tertiary red fruit. Not as good as previous bottle.

Pours pretty mature ruby with a dusky dried rose edge.
Initial nose is blueberries, bay leaf, myrtle. In a pretty happy place re balance.
With 6 hours of air shows a tiger balm/fernet type of herbal complexity. I preferred it pop and pour but appreciate both expressions.

Wow. So pretty - like Pinot noir and Nebbiolo all at once

Great traditional wine. Looking forward to the same bottles after a few more years.

Nose of floral notes, ripe cherry and berries, spice, balsamic, cedar wood, and a hint of chocolate. Taste of balsamic note, ripe acidity, powerful tannins, with spice and fainted sweetness. Aftertaste is bit monotone with bittersweet and a bit black tea, short lived.
