Вяленые красные ягоды, дым, ваниль, полно, богато. Отличный аромат. Полный богатый вкус, гармоничный, танины плотные, сухие. 17/20 (92/100)

Muted ruby color in the glass with orange undertones. Austere as all hell, this is such a classic example of what a really nice Barolo can be at this age. Dried roses and cherries predominant on the nose. A beautiful contrast of elegance and rusticity runs through this. Very dry and still a little tight, it requires some heavy decanting to let her open up. Solid, dusty tannins and bright acidity. That good Italian leather shines on the palate, along with cherries, smoked tobacco, and herbs for days. Long finish of spice and menthol. Wonderful expression of Barolo.

Personally, I don’t like young Barolo... I was told this one was more approachable but it wasn’t... it was nice but the future is brighter and less tannic ;)
