Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, blueberry and dark cherry with meaty spice. Full-body, balanced acidity, fine tannins ending with tobacco, cacao and espresso notes on the long finish. More time will benefit. Good value.

Becoming a staple - always good.

Bright fruit forward followed by rich, complex earth and leather with notes of red currant and a dry finish.

Good cab. Not as smooth as Quilt or Hess Allomi.

A bit of a disappointing vintage of this Napa Cabernet. (2017 & 2018 were outstanding!) Dark ruby color. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, vanilla (lots of it), blackberry, blueberry, cola, caramel and dark chocolate. Medium-plus bodied with velvety tannins and a long oaky finish. A bit hot and a touch disjointed. Touch of sharpness on the finish. A bit better after a long decant.

v19. Very nice. Soft, smoky, cedar nose. Fresh black currant fruit. Bright, light, zippy, mocha and lean leather finish.

Nice cab. Well balanced, not overpowering

Very good moderate priced Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa. Drank in January 2023. Some more aging will increase the overall taste. Pairs well with red meat and other foods.
