Red fruit up the wazoo on the nose, with a little bit of bramble. Sweet and thick on the palate.

Maybe in a dumb phase. This was not showing well. I love the artwork more than the contents inside unfortunately. Nose was expressive at first and then regressed for 2-3 hours when it came back to life in a way. The palate was fairly ordinary. Definitely a let down.

As if Part 1 of Saturday night wasn’t incredible enough, Part 2 of the final and main event for the Fall WNH was all Sine Qua Non wines. The most spectacular lineup of wines I’ve ever seen, and an overall wonderful ending to an amazing trip with fantastic people.

I had the Five Shooter Grenache about two weeks ago and gave it a 9.6...this is even better! More floral and potpourri like on the nose than I was expecting. Very little bacon fat. As expected, rich and dense on the palate without being out of whack. Fresh squeezed blackberries, mocha dipped black cherries, peppercorn and a savory herbal finish. A spectacular wine...one of the best SQNs I’ve had. Bravo,
@Eric LaMasters !

This was the first SQN I ever had. Huge fruits, very velvety. I didn't quite know what to make of it. Not sure I do still.

This is the most intriguing wine I have had with a flavor unlike any Syrah I have ever tasted. Underbrush, mint and menthol, chocolate and a finish lasting for more than 3 minutes!

Perhaps the most restrained SQN Syrah I've had since E-raised. This drank like an incredibly balanced, nuanced mid 90s LaLa. Perfectly on the right edge of extreme extraction. Restraint but power in spades.
